Out of the Trash (original oil painting)

The giant majestic tree contrasts with the similarly shaped lamppost as the latter seemingly grows out of the trash. It shouldn't matter where you come from and this lamppost is determined to prove a point.

This pleinair painting was painted on location in Wilmersdorfer Volkspark, Berlin, in a single session to capture the feeling of this singular moment. It is protected by a layer of glossy varnish to keep the colours fresh. The 24 x 30cm linen canvas is signed on the back, initialled on the front, and can be hung directly on the wall without a frame.
