Just the Tip (original oil painting)

Whilst walking the dog in the evening, I noticed the sun cast incredible colours on the tip of the tree and the building next to it. Time was of the essence as I dashed to grab my painting gear. Everything outside this golden ray of light was so soft, leaving you with the feeling that the tree and the building were merged as one.

This pleinair painting was painted on location in a single session to capture the colours of that singular moment. It is protected by a layer of glossy varnish to keep the colours fresh. The 24 x 30cm linen canvas is signed on the back, initialled on the front, and can be hung directly on the wall without a frame.
